Mary Tardif, Music Director
2022 to present

Mary Tardif has agreed to direct the Band this fall in preparation for our holiday concerts! Mary has been a music educator in eastern Connecticut for over 35 years. With degrees in music education and performance from the Hartt School of Music and Central CT State University, she has taught vocal and instrumental music to beginners through adults. Mary has guest conducted the Killingly Community Band, plus was the director of Webster Massachusetts' Pulaski Brass Band for over six years. Mary was chosen by colleagues to conduct the Capitol Regional Education Caucus district-wide chorus and band for multiple years. Having recently moved to Milton, VT, she was delighted to be invited by a neighbor to join the community band. Mary says, "Directing this fine group will be an honor, a privilege, and a lot of fun!"
